INCLUDED: 7 days + 6 nights (Accommodation at mountain camp with tents), Transfers from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine Park, from Hotel, or meeting point in the city center. Campground meals on site (prior coordination of the menu with clients). High mountain tents, Trekking poles, Access to Torres del Paine National Park (Conaf), Mountain guide service (1 guide per 8 people, according to Sernatur standard).

 

NOT INCLUDED: Personal equipment: Sleeping bag, backpack, mountain clothes (Can be rented in Puerto Natales, consult).

 

MEETING POINT: Hotels near the center of Puerto Natales, on the way up to Torres del Paine, or meeting point in the square in the center of the city.

 

SCHEDULE: 6:30 a.m. From the first day. From bus terminal in Puerto Natales

 

GRADE DIFFICULTY: Effort, it requires a good physical condition.

 

ITINERARY:

 

DAY 1:

6:30 a.m. Meeting of the group in Puerto Natales bus terminal, (coordinates to pick up the expeditionaries to your hotel, or in the center of Plaza de Armas in Puerto Natales).

7:30 a.m. Departure from Puerto Natales.

11:00 a.m. Arrival at Torres del Paine Park entrance, check in Conaf, talk and video of security and behavior in the park.

12:30 a.m. Approach in vehicle to start route of ascent to Chilean Camp, lunch in way.

5:00 p.m. Camp installation in tents, hot dinner.

7:00 p.m. Preparation of backpack for ascent of dawn to the viewpoint the towers, rest.

 

DAY 2:

4:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, the group goes to the viewpoint of the towers to see the dawn and take photos.

6:30 a.m. Mirador Las Torres, breakfast on the ground, photo taking.

8:00 a.m. Return to camp.

9:30 a.m. Disarming of tents and preparation of backpacks.

10:30 a.m. Start descent towards Camp Cuernos.

4:30 p.m. Installation of tents in Camp Cuernos.

7:00 p.m. Dinner. Break.

 

DAY 3:

6:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, disarming camp and preparing rucksacks.

8:30 a.m. Home trekking to Paine Grande Refuge.

3:00 p.m. Installation camp in Paine Grande.

7:00 p.m. Dinner, rest.

 

DAY 4:

6:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, disarming camp and preparing rucksacks.

8:30 a.m. Home hike to the Gray Refuge.

1:00 p.m. Arrival at Gray Haven, lunch, camp installation.

3:00 p.m. Hike to the base of the Glacier Gray, photography.

7:00 p.m. Dinner and rest.

 

 

 

DAY 5:

6:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, disarming camp and preparing rucksacks.

8:30 a.m. Home trek to Paine Grande Refuge.

1:00 p.m. Installation of camp in Paine Grande.

2:00 p.m. Lunch.

3:00 p.m. Hiking trails in the area, afternoon photography

7:00 p.m. Dinner and rest.

 

DAY 6:

7:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, disarming camp and preparing rucksacks.

11:00 a.m. Boarding in Catamaran from Paine Grande by Lake Pehoé to Pudeto.

12:30 a.m. Transfer to Pehoé camp.

2:30 p.m. Installation of Lake Pehoé camp. Path trails in the area, photography.

7:00 p.m. Dinner, rest.

 

DAY 7:

7:30 a.m. Rising and breakfast, disarming camp and preparing rucksacks.

9:30 a.m. Transfer to Pudeto, waiting for transport by bus.

12:30 a.m. Boarding by bus to Puerto Natales.

18:00 hrs. Arrival to Puerto Natales.

End Expedition.

 

Note: Some schedules may vary, depending on bus schedules and catamaran. It is recommended to do this route leaving half a day of slack, for possible delays in the walks.

 

 

GENERALITIES FOR TREKKING

 

MOUNTAIN GUIDES: All routes are guided by experienced and trained mountain guides in mountain and first aid (First Aid kit is used, it is recommended that each person carry his own medicine cabinet). There will be at least 1 guide per 7 passengers.

EACH PERSON NEEDS TO TAKE:

 

Medium Mountain or Trekking Shoes.

Large backpack, Sleeping bag -10 ° C, Mattress, Front torch.

Water: 2 liters and containers to keep water in the camps

Sun protection (sunblock, hat, sunglasses)

High mountain clothes: Parka, pants and gloves of coat, first, second and third layers, (avoid sleeveless shirts and shorts by the sunburns),

Kitchen utensils and personal hygiene, First-aid kit, Camera. 

PERSONAL BACKGROUND CARD AND STATEMENT OF LIABILITY:

Each person must complete the Personal Data Sheet and sign the Declaration of Responsibility, which will be delivered via email to the registrants or completed in the field on the day of the activity.
